Our Volunteers

The Because There Is Hope organization is composed of an executive board and a handful of energetic volunteers.

Executive Director Melody Biehl was inspired to start the organization in July 2004. As a nine year breast cancer survivor herself, Melody felt a calling to bring a message of hope and encouragement to women. Her philanthropy has taken on many forms including involvement with the American Cancer Society as a co-coordinator for the Reach to Recovery program, Chair of the Spokane Relay For Life, a breast cancer support group leader, and an inspirational speaker and singer.
