Our Purpose

Our Purpose is to provide temporary charitable housing to women who have been touched by cancer.

Host Homes

Host Homes are temporary housing provided by caring people within the Spokane area that offer rooms in their own homes for women during their cancer treatment and recovery. Our ultimate goal is to have a house donated to our organization to provide lodging for women in a comfortable home environment.

Gas Vouchers

A 2009 grant from Susan G Komen has allowed us to provide gas vouchers to breast cancer patients traveling to treatment in the Spokane region.

About The Founder

Melody  Biehl, Inspirational Speaker, Singer

Melody brings a message of hope to those touched by cancer through her love for music and inspirational speaking.  In 1997, at the age of 41 Melody had her first mammogram, there was something suspicious found, she then had a stereotactic biopsy which revealed breast cancer.  Melody was devasted by the news as there is no family history.  She had a mastectomy with reconstruction.

Melody wanted to help others going through cancer.  In 2004 she started the nonprofit "Because There Is Hope".  Bringing a message of Hope, Healing and a safe Haven to those touched by cancer.
